But once you’re satisfied, click the “OK” button, and Reminders will put what you selected into plain text so you can be sure things are set up correctly. Spend some time going through all of your choices! There’s a ton of ways to use this.
…or use the drop-down menus at the bottom to get reminded on, say, the first weekend day of every month. The Internet Accounts that you set up on your Mac allow you to use apps like Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Notes.
You can do the same thing with “Monthly” choose many specific days for reminders… Every frequency type has its own options for example, “weekly” will let you pick multiple days of the week on which to get your notifications. This is how you’ll set a frequency for your repeated reminder-daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Under “Custom” is where the magic happens. You can configure the feature to turn on based on your schedule. When you do that, the drop-down menu will offer you a “Custom” choice. Open the Settings app and tap on ‘Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.’ You’ll now see your screen time, option to set website timers, focus mode, and bedtime mode under the ‘Ways to disconnect’ section.Here, press bedtime mode. Tap the Plus/New Reminder button, write your reminder and tap. To set up a custom repeat, select “On a Day,” and then click next to the “Repeat” section. Open the app and tap the list you want to add a reminder to, or tap Add List to create a new list of reminders. Some features aren’t available when using accounts from other providers. All Reminders features described in this guide are available when using upgraded iCloud reminders.

How to add a location to a reminder To explore the Reminders User Guide, click Table of Contents at the top of the page, or enter a word or phrase in the search field. To get started, you’ll open the Reminders app and click on a blank line to type in the title of your item. Hover your cursor over your new reminder afterward, and you should see a small “i.” Click there… You may also consider a few other options visible there. Type the desired name and then click (i) you see at the row’s end. Anyway, you can do this on either macOS or iOS, but I’m going to be covering how to do it on the Mac (the steps are very similar, though). Open Reminders on your Mac and click + icon in the top-right.
